1st ever screen acting course for actors from Nepal FTII concludes
The first ever screen acting course for actors from Nepal at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) Pune has concluded. Eminent filmmaker and FTII alumnus Subhash Ghai presented certificates to the visiting actors.
The visiting actors comprising 12 men and 8 women are top-ranking stars of Nepal. They have established themselves in the Nepali and Bhojpuri film industry in Nepal.
During the course, the participants received rigorous training in acting through the teaching of Rasa Theory, sense memory, improvisation, scene-work and lip sync playback.
The course, which was started on 12th Feb, also entailed contemporary dance workshops, yoga classes as well as an exposure visit to an ongoing shooting location in Mumbai
