Indian origin Jason Sangha to lead Australia’s U-19 world cup team.
Three-time Under-19 World Cup champions Australia will be led by Jason Sangha in next month's edition in New Zealand.Sangha became the youngest Australian to be handed a full-time contract. Earlier this year, Sangha, became the youngest Australian to score a first-class century courtesy of his 133 for Cricket Australia XI against England in Townsville.Australia will kickstart their campaign against India on January 14, their opening game in Group B at the Bay Oval in Tauranga.
Fact sheet: The 2018 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup is an international limited-overs cricket tournament scheduled to be held in New Zealand from 13 January to 3 February 2018. It will be the twelfth edition of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, and the third to be held in New Zealand (after the 2002 and 2010 events). New Zealand will be the first country to host the event three times.
